Perjalanan dari Kuala Kurau mengambil masa dalam 2 jam melalui lebuhraya PLUS. Exit di Gurun.
Kaki Gunung Jerai tidak jauh dari tol plaza Gurun. Memulakan pendakian ke puncak. Jalan tu diaa...berkelok kelok bukan U lagi tapi Z menegak.. Terbit juga kerisauan manalah tau kenderaan terberhenti ketika mengambil selekoh curam..Minyak berbaki sedikit, asyik meneran enjin bimbang makin laju minyak menyusut., hehe kegusaran yang tidak berasas.
Keadaan jalan jauh lebih baik dari kunjungan pertama ...Dulu kami datang menggunakan 4wd. Berkepol asap hitam ketika mendaki cerun curam.
Walaupun hanya berjarak 12km ke puncak dari kaki gunung, muak melayan selekoh tajam...terasa tak berkurangan jarak tertera dibatu tanda tepi jalan.
Akhirnya tiba dipuncak. Segera menuju ke satu-satunya resort di puncak gunung.. Regency Jerai Hill Resort.
Cantik.. cantik.. cantik..Itu impresi pertama ketika melangkah keluar dari kereta. Toleh segenap arah cantik...landskap resort cantik, pemandangan lembah, sawah dan laut menakjubkan..Suasana nyaman. Kedinginan bayu petang disertai hujan gerimis halus sesekali berkabus, membangkitkan lagi aura percutian tanah tinggi...memang berbeza dari destinasi destinasi tanah tinggi lain.
Banyak pilihan bilik harga antara 250 hingga 450. Mungkin promosi musim covid, bilik kami kadar biasa 450 mendapat harga 280. Lokasi strategik dengan pemandangan menarik.
